Description

This giant vertical puzzle is a great way to help children with their number and counting skills. Numbers from 1-10 are clearly printed all the way up the trunk with a corresponding number of animals next to each one. This means that children will learn to associate the number of animals with the correct number on the trunk. The bright, cheerful animal characters will appeal to children of all ages and the thick, durable board will hold up to plenty of wear and tear. There are many ways to add to the play value of the jigsaw. Before you start, you can ask your child to find a piece with the number 3 on, or a piece with a red and yellow snake on. When completed, as well as counting the number of animals in each group, you can ask which creatures can fly, which ones have beaks, what noises they make. The included poster can be used to further learning, even once your jigsaw has been put away.
