Everybody remembers the old traditional games of `Snakes and Ladders` and `Ludo`, which we played as children with our own parents and grandparents. These classic family favourites have been given an exciting pirate twist on this sturdy, double-sided playing board. In the `Snakes and Ladders` game, the jolly pirates use rope ladders to help them take shortcuts to the big treasure chest and win the game. But they have to look out for the slippery sea snakes, which send them sliding back down the board! On the reverse side of the board is the game of `Ludo`, also with a pirate twist. Players each have counters, and must try to be the first to get all their counters to their special pirate treasure in the middle of the board. But they must watch out - if another player lands on the same square as you, you will be sent right back to the start! Both games involve a lot of luck, and `Ludo` can also include a certain amount of strategy, so children have to learn to be patient when the game isn`t going their way. Particularly suited to children aged 5 to 9, these classic games have stood the test of time and are sure to be popular favourites for the whole family. Ref. Code:ORC040

All the 16 item cards are spread face-down on the table and players take it in turns to turn up a card. If it matches one of the items on their shopping list, the player takes the card and places it on their trolley. If they don`t have the item on their list, the card is returned face down on the table. Play continues until one player has filled their trolley with all the items on their list. The game can be played with just 2 players, but if it is used in conjunction with the original `Shopping List` it can be played with up to 6 players, or up to 4 players with the other Shopping List Booster Pack. Learn to count with these friendly spotty dogs. Players take it in turn to spin the number spinner and pick a card from the table that shows a dog with the same number of spots. When the card is turned over, the player can see how many biscuit bones the dog has hidden in his basket. The winner is the player who has the highest number of bones when all the dog cards have been collected.
